Default Straight Pipes

Any one here got straight pipes? Been looking around and I like the sound and our state is not that strict so long as I keep the cats. Any thoughts?

thats what i have, well, they arent really straights with cats i dont think.

i have stock headers to custom welded in 3inch diameter xpipe welded in right after the cats that runs out to 3.5in tips in the rear.

Personally i like the sound. The car has a nice deep rumble, it can get very loud when revving real high, but i can still drive through my neighborhood at 2am without waking the neighbors *** long as im on the sub 2200rpm range.

as long as you dont have SLP LM1's you should be fine at 2am. lol

but i think jacks right for true straight pipes you need to lose the cats.

So I guess that will be my next mod.

I guess I have "Green" straight pipes too. I like the sound, but I would like it to be a little more refined. I like the x-pipe type of sound and with no mufflers is has a very deep sound.

the best part of loud exhaust is how the ricers pretend they cant see you cause the deep v8 growl scares em. lol.

I have found this to be true also. I really noticed the difference after going from a v6 to a loud GT.

Yeah,,

the hod was flawed from the factory, i got a refund by the seller but before they would refund the money they wanted me to rip the hood in half and send them pics that it had been destroyed.

so we threw pennies at it, then rocks, then bricks, tghen attacked it with a screw driver, a hammer, an ice pic, a blowtorch, and then ran over it with the hemi and ripped it in half.

i got my replacement hood that day from another seller, and it came fucked up, i ended up not having a hood on my car for nearly a month.

this is my third carbon fiber hood. they are getting hard to find.
