HITECH STAGE 2's springs?
Are springs absolutely needed for a copuple of months until I get a set of performance heads? Car goes into storage at the end of October. Opinions? I will ask hitech when they open. Mark

They need springs with them, just get the springs or wait on installing the cams one of the two has to be done.

Dont those cams require aftermarket stiffer springs but they tell you just run stock? Those are the same cams as VT stage 2's so I dont know why they would do that, but whatever.

hightek cams are deceptively mild on the grind. they seem to make power though from what I'm seeing out there.

Two totally different shops with different cam philosophies, Hitech's cams favor the intake lobe and yes, the stage II's are supposed to work with stock springs if they are in good shape. |
hi-tech's cams have been putting down some really impressive numbers on pretty mild tunes. I'd really consider them.

How do these look for a 5.4 2v? |
I'd have to assume that they're decent but we can't tell till someone tries a set.
