Default cold air intake

i got a Bomz Racing CAI with the filter down, almost in front of the tire, i was debating on a jlt CAI, which would benefit more, also, im confused about headers, what gives more horsepower, shorty or long tubes, sumone help please!!!

I drive a 2000 Mustang GT, 4.6 SOHC, Flowmaster Mufflers, Bomz Racing CAI, and 4.10's

I'm not familiar with the Bomz CAI but differences in performance for CAIs are minimal. Proably best to stick with what you have, unless you really want to switch to JLT. Same thing happened to me. I bought a CAI, decided I didn't like it, sold it, bought a JLT. And Longtubes for the headers.

I love it. I have the Ram Air Intake version though becuase I didn't want to deal with trying to reach under the car to take the filter off. Becomes a big hassle when removing the pipe and all that IMO. It's the best quality I have ever seen in a CAI.

Yeah, I had two on my v6 and three now on my GT. The first on the v6 was a cheap Ebay CAI, the second was one I made. On the GT, the first was K&N, then a black powdercoaded one that was basicly the same at the Ebay one but a little better (only had it on for a day), and now the JLT which is by far the best.
