so i drove a 99 cobra today and loved it. i want to buy it but not sure if its the right thing to do. everything was nice and in good condition. i want to buy it but i am still debating on getting my brothers truck for a bit to save up some money to buy a new one in a couple years. the gas mileage would not be much different so it would be the same gas but the truck has 60,000 miles and the cobra has 102,000 miles. i have a 98 v6 which i am about to sell to someone and would take that money to buy the cobra or buy my brothers truck and save some money. i am so confused what to do. both cars are stock too. please add some advice and comments.

mileage is kinda high. Expect to be doing some engine work in the first year of ownership. Also, the 99 cobra tranny and rear suspension setups are kinda fragile for the amount of power. Find a better cobra or better yet a Mach1.

the reason i would buy this cobra is because the owner is only asking 7000 for it and thats all i got to spend. while my brothers truck would be about 4000.

If you are stuck to only spending 7k I would get the truck. It's your brothers so you know if it was taken care of. Plus like I said in the other post 100k+ is a lot of miles for a sports car.

I take back my thought. Don't get a 99 cobra. Remembering now that they are the ones with some problems. Friend of mine had one, just sold it. It was a dog...That is pretty high mileage too...

Honestly if it were me i would hold out and just get an 03-04 cobra instead when you could afford it
