Hey I need some advice. I have a 98 GT that already has the full PI head and typhoon manifold swap and larger cams. Im looking for more of an aggressive sound and a friend of mine has his 98 dumped and it sounds amazing and he doesnt even have headers and I have long tubes. What do yall think?

I run dumps with FRPP shorties and bassani catted X. It's much louder inside the car than a rear exit setup and kinda smells when you get in bumper to bumper sitting still traffic but it sounds badass outside the car. I would advise against doing it with flowmasters though... that combo rattled my nuts at 1800rpm. Magnaflow or Borla or bassani make great sound.

i've dumped my flows, and macs.. and they both sound so much better than rear exit.. but the flows rattle everything like crazy in the drone zone, the macs to but not as much!
but thats the way to go...

I've thought about going with dumps on my car just to see how much of a sound difference there is. I figured if I didn't like it then I could just get the pipes welded back on. I would also have to get a V6 bumper though.
