It doesnt happen all the time, but when i start her she idles all weird. Ranging from 1,300 rpms to 200 rpms. Just up and down, up and down. And sometimes she dies on me. Any ideas?

IAC replace it and see if it fixes your problem. i'm having the same gremlin on startups and i been meaning to order a new one from randy. the car isnt my daily driver so its not a pressing issue for me at this moment. i want to fix this problem because its fouling up my plugs so im doing a tune up on the car: fuel filter, plugs, IAC, and air filter (mine is jacked). if this doesnt fix the problem im blowing my car up. i cleaned the IAC and nothing changed so im just buying a new one.

Same here, I haven't gotten around to it because she has been sitting for the winter. Where can I order a new IAC?

i would make sure the iacv isnt dirty or on the wrong way. alot of the time you just need to clean it or the MAF sensor when idling that rough.

sounds to me though to be the iacv for sure. remove it clean it and make sure it is on in the correct position. i know atleast on mine there are several ways to mess it up.

run a little carb cleaner through the IAC before you replace it. Could be just that easy. The gunk gets thicker and grittier during the winter months. Gets easier to notice.

when i checked mine it was clean nothing caked up on it at all. i looked at the plenum and it was clean too lots of parts that still showed aluminum. im still replacing the IAC because i think the solenoid is sticking a little.

if you have a CAI check your filter and all your connections to make sure you dont have a leak, i just had this problem and thought it was my iac but it was just a leak in my cai
