Electric Fuel Pressure Gauge install

I need help...

I have a Autometer C2 Electric Fuel pressure gauge for my 04 GT...i thought it was going to be easy to install the sender and such because of the schrader valve on the end of the passanger side fuel rail...i pop the hood to check and there isnt a freakin schrader valve! WTF! come to find out after research they dicontinued it in 04...all the 99-03 GTs have it but mine! freakin sweet

There is something that looks like the schrader valve on the side passanger side strut tower...is that where it would go?

Anyone ever installed one on an 04 GT...where to put the sender?

PLEASE help!

LOL, your going to have to get another fuel rail from a 99-03 mustang.

the schrader valve thing your talking about does it have a green and black cap? if so than those are for the AC service hoses.

edit: ROFL you posted in the wrong section on modular powerhouse. i hate how this VB makes MPH say (miles per hour)

You can get 02 or 03 fuel rails, or just get a fuel block to put on the drivers side fuel rail.

so there is no other way?

i have spotted a couple fuel rails for like 10 bucks so thats cheap enough

I'll sell you my stock fuel rail cheap. It has a schrader valve. Cake to swap em out. PM me with offer.

You do not need to get new fuel rails. They sell an adapter that goes under you fuel pressure regulator on the drivers side . Here ya go man

much easier.

03gtmustang 01-07-2008 10:28 AM

Yep, the fuel block like I said.

03gtmustang 01-07-2008 12:39 PM

Well, well well, guess what I just found. My old NX fuel block. Looks brand new. PM me if you want it.

stanger00 01-07-2008 10:49 PM

on another board he said he got a rail from a local club member..

40thanniversaryGT 01-09-2008 04:30 PM

Ok, do it the harder way then. lol.

TClark22 01-09-2008 05:30 PM

i got the rails for free...compared to the adapter at what 40 bucks? lol

so its worth it to me to go the harder way

40thanniversaryGT 01-09-2008 05:31 PM

The adapter has 2 ports, so you could use the other one for some thing later down the road. Plus I think its a lot cleaner look. If you care about that sort of thing

Sorry, I guess I can't give my opinion. I'm starting to realize why I left this forums for months.
