Camshaft/Spring question.
I have Crower Stage II cams with an advertised .559/.570 lift and my heads have Comp Beehive springs that are advertised to work with .550 lift cams. Will I be pushing my luck with these springs? I really don't want to change them out.

not pushing ... pushed past tense.
Change the springs for a set with at least .580 lift capacity. That'll do what you need and be big enough to handle a little variation in installed height. FWIW... I have .550/.550 and .550 springs. I'm pushing it. |
go with Manley Nexteks

I was told that the comp beehives would work with VT Stage IIs that have slightly greater lift than the cams you have, but I just didn't trust it and went with the crower springs. No problems...
