t45 question
I am in the process of building my 1999 gt up with an mmr 5.0 stroker,etc... my question is i will be pushing around 400-500 to the ground and i am about to be out of money. I have a T45 that i regularly change with royal purple but it is aging and doesnt shift as good as i would like(hard to get into reverse sometimes and 1st every once in a while). I would love a t56 but just dont have the funds. Is the 45 worth taking to the shop or ????? Any suggestions on a budget? Also the shifter knob and around that area seams to get hot as ballz lately. Anyone had this problem? Thanks, Brad

you can get used tremec tkos for $1400 if you search the internet forums. Or a just use the t45 till it breaks or send it promotion, D&D, etc... for beefing up you have alot of choices. If your low on cash i would just use it till it breaks.
