5.4 nav 4v swap?

i just got my hands on a 01 navigator 5.4 4 cam complete engine, has a burnt valve on cylinder 7,but other than that was thinking about fresshening it up. what kinda of harness do they offer for it other than the harness from a navigator? is it worth the swap or headaches in a fox body? or would anyone have a better home for it? any help?

it'll be a tight squeeze but I've seen it done recently on a car in MM&FF. Harness issues will be mostly solved by importing a cobra harness from something like a 96-01 cobra. It's definitely worth the hassle for unique points as well as power potential. Call up Al Papito at Boss330 Racing. He loves 5.4 4v swaps. Should be able to make your life much easier.

if you don't want to deal with it, there's a few guys in the 5.4 swap thread in the modular tech section that would probably jump on it. You can mention it there but you need to post more before you can post in the classifieds.

just an all around ford guy,but its an 88 t-bird 331,built a few mod mtrs for work, but never did a performance for myself, and if i was gonna do it has to be a 5.4 -4v or a v-10 swap.just havent gotten my hands on a v-10 as of yet.

well then... you must be quite well suited to doing the swap. Why don't you check in over in our sticky and introduce yourself. The chaps would all certainly love to see one happen, so keep us posted.

I just picked up a 4 cyl fox body a couple months ago and that is the motor i'm thinking about picking up to drop in there. Whenever funds allow. So that's pretty cool man keep us posted on the project let me know what you run into so i know for future reference.
