Shaker Setup. CDC Vs. Roush.
So, im pretty much set on getting a Shaker Setup for my 04 GT.
Been doing some reasearch and i THOUGHT that CDC was the only manufactuer of these. CDC Shaker http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...splay/460.html Then low and behold, i found the the 99-04 Roush Shaker. http://store.roushperformance.com/detail.aspx?ID=475 The airtube looks a bit different. Thats really all. Does anyone know if this is just a rebadged CDC shaker for 100 bucks more? I noticed i dont see the Shaker - Supercharger adapter, which is why i will probably go with the CDC so i can slap a vortech in later this summer. |
*cough* KARKRAFT *cough*

232 = cheapest mach1 hood, off ebay. 45 shipping for said hood 300 for paint Total $1,256 Roush Shaker setup with stock hood total $890 CDC shaker setup, from $715-795 I agree, the mach1 hood and karkraft shaker setup would be ideal, that extra 500 bucks could go somewhere better. lol.... |

Naa, i cashed out some stocks to cover the last month of rent for the girls old apartment (broke the lease, finally got the bill). Well, i went ahead and cashed out and will have enough to clear out that bill and have about 850-900 for a shaker setup. I get my mid year bonus in a month or two, plus i might get an illustrating gig for about 2 grand. So i hope to end up with about 3,200-3,500 that is enough to supercharge if i buy the parts seperatly and get a used head unit and have it rebuilt. I should be able to get the whole setup for about 2,300.... so that leaves some money for a good dyno tune at Mile High Dyno, and maybe get some LCA/UCA's and some subframe connectors. the shaker setup is basically just cause it looks cool as shit and i dont see anybody with them. And mach1's are VERY rare here in colorado. Cobra's and roushes are everywhere. |

The crack is at the front of the hood... As best I can tell it's just the clearcoat... I haven't asked anyone around here (BFE) if they can repair/paint it. I got a kid due in August and we're moving this weekend (finally found a place). I'm out in Wray, CO. IF I can get better pics and you still want it. If you're willing to come get it you can have it for $150... If I meet you half way price goes up to $200... Hope it's okay to post that here. If not let's continue this in PMs. |
