Default Headlight Installation

I posted this is the V6 forum too, but I am wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to replace my headlights in my 98. I replaced the corners, but I can't seem to figure out how the headlights come out.

On my '00, they are simple. There is two metal clips on each head light. You can see the clips when the trunk is open. The clips get pulled upward and then the headlight assembly falls right out.

When the trunk is open?? I'm guessing you meant when the hood is open? If not I need a better explanation as I can't visualize this

Yes, i meant hood. I am not sure if the setup on yours is the same as a 99+. Hopefully, someone can reply with a car of the same year.

My roommate just changed his headlights on his '97. I'm assuming they are all the same from '94 - '98. If I remember correctly there is one nut that needs to be removed. 2 plastic clips that have to be pinched to make it out of the hole (he used a screw driver to pry it out). And one clip that is 'L' shaped that has to be pulled up on and removed completely. I know my directions aren't very good, but you might understand once you look at it. After you get all that off, you just have to wiggle it loose. Unfortunately they're not as easy removing as the 99+ mentioned by MT's#1Customer. Hope this helps.
