bad coil packs?

so tha stang runs alittle rough between 1500 and 2200 rpms. it has done this before so i took it tha dealership and they replace one of the coils and it ran smooth as silk until about a week ago. im thinking about just buying aftermarket packs and changing em myself. can somebody give me some advice about which brand to get?

unless your makin 600+ HP thier is NO reason to replace the factory COP's, unless you like throwing away $$$........ oh and btw, you have COP's = coil on plugs NOT Coil Paks, 2 different animals

well thats what ive always heard em called, my bad. anyway back to my question, is there a way to tell with COP is malfunction so i can just replace it with a factory unit?

Shit Randy, I have always called them both. I never realized there was a difference......thanks.

the bad COP probably lead to a fouled plug. replace the plugs then consider the packs. I'll bet you a dollar you don't need anymore coils.

so how long do coil packs last anyway?
