Default Okay, so what do you guys think?

So, on march 10, I will be dropping my car off at Outrageous Mustangs to get my Vortech SQ Trim mongoose kit installed. I currently have a full bolt on, auto, 1997 GT. My goal for this car is to get as close as possible to 400rwhp. My tuner told me with just the kit installed he would guess that id be in the 300-310rwhp range. Now, my original plans for the car were to get a PI Intake Manifold swap, Paxton A/A intercooler, Mini Race bpv, Stall, and custom grind blower cams. I thought that would have gotten me my goals. As i talked to my tuner, he said the most restricting piece in my car is the heads, and that he did not think JUST swapping the intake would do much and that I should look into some type of heads( they weren't PI, so they won't raise compression)...i was just checking to see if anybody would have any input as to which route i should take to reach me my goals? Do you think my route would get me to where I want to be??

I remember reading in Mustangs and Fast Fords awhile back, when they tested the 96-98 heads they actually did ok, and the biggest restriction truly was the early intake. I know people who have spent the extra cost to port and polish these early heads with great results. However, with that said, it is much cheaper and easier to just replace the heads and intake at the same time. I have the full PI swap and high compression pistons. I am about to go stage 2 low lift cams due to the amoutn of compression I currently run.
