Default Motor revs

My car's (02 GT) rpms stay at around 2100 when i push the clutch in while shifting. Is this normal? My 5.0 (and for that matter the 10 or so other sticks i've owned) never did that. If i hold the clutch in for a few extra seconds it drops down to idle. Only mods are Flows and k&n filter.

completely normal. Check your IAC for being dirty. Probably could use a cleaning. If it dies at idle or stumbles then you may be developing a vacuum leak.

Thanks for the tip! I cleaned the IAC and TB and it works perfectly now! Actually, it feels like a new beast, low end torque feels better as does throttle response. Thanks again!
