i currently have a C&L intake system comlplete with the 80mm MAF. I have read in the sticky on this board that it could be harmfull to a basicly stock motor(make it run lean). so im going to put the stock one back in to the intake system but the Aftermarket filter is bigger then that Stock MAF 4 inchs i think. Does anybody know where i can get a Adapter plate for this promblem???

It can cause your car to run lean. The best thing to do is go get a dyno run with A/F reading and see if it's actually causing it to be too lean. Other than that you're gunna have to get custom on it.

you mean put the stock MAF behind tha C&L MAF? theres no way that will fit.the filter barely fits under the hood as it is. there has to be somebody who knows where to buy an adapter???

no he means not to use the C&L maf which I totally agree with. Every time I've seen a C&L MAF on a car it's AF has gotten all hosed because of it. Just leave the stock MAF on. you should be able too figure out a way to get the stock maf to use your shiny new filter. Probably going to have to cut off the stock flange where it attaches to the stock AF housing, then clamp a filter in place. I'd sell the C&L kit and get something lighter. They DO NOT make power.. you'll see like 1hp tops.

you'll want to post pics of what you have, where you're problem is and what you expect to do about it. We've given you what we have for advice but there's no such thing outside something that you cobble together. Start cobbling.
