A quick question!
Will it hurt my engine if i take my mufflers off and drive around like for a couple of days?
|
Only manifolds and midpipe. No, it wont hurt.
|
I had an 3in di xpipe welded in with 3inch piping replacing my mufflers a 2 years ago and have never had any problems.
Mufflers are for pussys and imports. |
HA HA! I agree Jack!

I haven't had mufflers on my mustang for over a year and it is loud but sounds very sweet. It definitely get people's attention
|
Ran no muffs on the 96' GT and the cobra till just a few weeks ago. I'd still be without but wanted to lose the tail pipes. I like the way the 4.6 sounds running no muffs.

i ran around with open headers once.

my digital camera i just dump onto cd and pop that in the tray. i might get a computer here soon though, then ill do some exhaust clips for everyone What really suprised me is the volume of going with straights rather than with the SLP Loudmouth. I expected my setup would be a bit louder, but badfish cruised up here one time when he had his SLP setup and it made mine seem pretty quiet. those SLP's are like freakin blowhorns. actually... there might be a soundclip somewhere, i think i managed to get one on my old camera. but im too lazy to dig it up. |
Yep, had my muffs cut off and replaced with 3" pipes and 3.5" tips a couple of weeks ago on the GT, its loud as hell. I also just replace the magnaflow x-pipe on the mach with a mac prochamber, so this weekend, the X-pipe goes on the GT.
