That's the ticket. I've got one more bit of wiring to do so I can switch back and forth between wideband and narrowband on the same guage but it's otherwise installed and calibrated and working really well.

You can see the deficiencies in the stock tune really clearly with realtime AF. 13.5+:1 until it crosses 3000rpm then it starts dumping gas (I think to cool down the cats at high rpm) into the mix and goes to 11.5-12:1.

If you ever decide to install one, do not use a 2 position toggle switch. Momentary or nothing, otherwise you cause a problem and can't program the controller if you need to.

It is nice not seeing my air fuel guage just bounce from side to side. Innovative Motorsports makes a great product in the LC-1 and LM-1 but their support is a little on the weak side.

unfortunatly my A:F is like 10.8:1 at WOT right now . . . .

do you have tuning software or do you have it done for you? That should be easy enough to fix with a tweak to the MAF xfer function table. Even with all the boost you run you should be able to get away with an 11.5:1 AF.

But yeah... I'm really liking the setup. And to the unitiated it looks like a plain jane narrowband guage but it's so much more.

ohh i didnt notice you are using a narrowband gauge . .thats weird, i have a wideband digital gauge.

Naw, Justin does my tuning, i actualyl think the issue isnt with the tuning but somthing else with the car. It started happening after i screwed with some stuff. but its my daily driver so its hard to get time to troubleshoot stuff

I use the phantoms but they're all about the same. If you do get it make sure you pay attention to the wiring diagrams. They're not joking about the setup. 1 mistake and you'll skew your readings.

It could be just dumping fuel from some learned condition. Justin should be able to figure it out. I know what you mean about daily drivers though. I drive mine daily to work. Now with the SCT kit I got I can just update the tune at my desk at work and upload it to my handheld if I need a quick change. This weekend I'm going to fiddle with the fuel a little and try and get a little more in the 2k-3k rpm range.

i read somewhere on MD that youll need some copper fitting with shorty headers... is this true? ive got bbk chrome shorties...ill probably be ordering mine on some time next week.

copper no. fitting yes. It's called a bung. It holds the O2 sensor. Costs about 20 bucks to have it welded in. It should go on your H/X pipe below the collector not on the headers themselves... don't want to melt the sensor.
