Hey everyone!...i'm new to the site. I have a couple stangs

Stang 1.

2002 Mustang GT. o/r x, flowmaster weld in mufflers, 4.10's, diablo, paint, tri-ax and spec stage 2 clutch.

I just blew up the motor in this one, but it gives me a chance to upgrade :)

Stang 2.

2001 Bullitt - bbk lt's, o/r h, magnapack c/b, 3.55's, densecharger cai

I just bought this car locally for about 1200, so as you can imagine the body needs some work
Attachment 26261 -yup, that's the damage

anyways, to keep this tech, What cc dished piston will i need to run to get to 8.5 compression? I want to run a KB 2.2 after i get the motor build :Woot:

with stock PI heads and stock dished valves you'll need about an 18cc dish. Could be as much as 22cc's.

I was wondering the same thing, but that explains it.

Why not save some parts and part it out?

Ive got the Bullitt intake on my car too...

subtle02gt 11-13-2006 09:32 PM

you see, i was gonna do the same thing (part it out)

but i got the car for 1200...somehow fixing it sounds better...especially because of the condition of the car..it's not nearly bad enough to scrap it IMO
