2V to 4V?

I was just wondering how much work would be involved switching from 2V heads to 4V heads. Granted I could find heads from a mach or cobra, how much work and money would be involved to make the conversion? Also, what all would I need? Just a thought.

Its a good amount of work I believe. 4v intake, computer, etc. etc. Try doing a search on modulardepot.com

its alot of work, you'll need an intake, exhaust system & coolant system just for starters. imho, it ain't worth it unless you gots lots of $$$$

An easier thing to do would be to find a Mach of Cobra! ha ha ha....I saw a DSG Mach for sale in Livermore the other day.

Some guy on ebay has an ad for all you need for $2000. If you want to try. I don't think I would.

Yeah I figured it was going to be a lot of work and money. I just wanted to see for sure. I had seen some 4v heads and intake for sale and was just thinking about how hard the conversion is. I guess I'll stick with what I have for now. Thanks for the info.

OK...I need way more info :)

what about the cams? don't 3v have variable cam timing? you used a stock-ish 2v block? what about the tune? where'd the alt. go?

sorry, but what you've done is really intriguing :Woot:
