Default Procharger v. Vortech V. Porwerdyne V. any other suggestions

I'm thinking about buying a supercharger for my 2000 gt that has an all stock motor with 76,000 miles. If any one has any recommendations or Testimonials they would be appreciated. Also what is the recommened amount of boost i could run if i bought one.

Vortech s-trim sounds the best! Im putting one on mine tomorrow and ive got about 100K on the car! I have a 45K mile engine sitting at my house waiting for transplant in case I get into trouble though.....

My bonestock 2v engine had been through 2 years of NX 100 shot, 3 years running 8-12lbs vortech s-trim, got into boost daily while racing on the weekends, had 157,000 miles on it, and was running like new

if you want it quiet, dont get the procharger. im running a p-1sc and you can hear that thing a mile away. and if you look t the dyno graph it looks like a roots style blower

same here with the procharger it pulls like a roots style except my power dosent fall off it keeps on climbing all the way to redline. And ageed with above if you want people to know you have a blower procharger will be the one, and the bypass valve when you shift sounds cool as hell

procharger and vortech are both solid blowers. I lead twards procharger just because it is easyer to install . . and it makes more power.

I've had both btw

I wouldnt go more than 8psi un intercooled or 10-11psi intercooled. You really dont need to because you will be making some good numbers at those PSI anyhow and will with supporting mods be near the stock blocks limits.

I also have a procharger. Yes, its very loud, everyone will think you have a vaccum leak somewhere. The blow off valve sounds like a little rattle snake, at least mine does. Good blower, known for their seal problems though. They are known to make the best power.

Basically were telling you either vortech, procharger, or kenne bell.

Like two people here have a powerdyne, there not really popular at all. If money is prohibiting you, powerdyne is the cheapest blower.

Its a 10buck napa seal and there instructions online. But most found that by running 3/4 a bottle of lube it stops leaking and still gets enough lube.
