its not really the software its the tuner that makes it happen. but i like SCT cause it has alot more options and there are a ton of tuners who use it so its easyer on me.

Also does anyone even use regular superchips chips anymore. i got one but no one tunes them anymore lol damn it.

TonyStangs 04-14-2005 05:23 PM

what about diablosport, you still like SCT over diablosport?

Sleeper Stang96 04-14-2005 05:37 PM

I woudnlt recommend diablo to anyone, just my opinion. SCT hands down, for any ford vehicle

TonyStangs 04-14-2005 05:38 PM

which of their products in particular? i am looking for a chip for my car or a tuner, whatever i get more hp out of. can u recommend me with a specific product? thanks!

Sleeper Stang96 04-14-2005 05:41 PM

Thats more up to you than anything. The chip you can get tuned by someone on the dyno, or mail order. The tuner system you would have to do all of the tuning. The excalibrator can be sent to you with a tune on it, up to three different ones, and then you can modify them by yourself as well. Just depends how involved with the actual tuning you want to get

i really dont know how to tune, id rather get something pre-programmed or something to my vehicle. does the xcaliber give out good hp for the money it costs? im just looking to get the absolute most powerful chip i can.

There's no such thing as the "most powerful" chip. It's all in the tuner, man.

I would say go with the xcal. That way you can get new tunes emailed to you if you change your setup, as well as have a few different tunes for different situations like racing, street, and mileage

TonyStangs 04-14-2005 05:48 PM

arite cool, thanks alot ima research the xcal a little more nd hopfully put the order in soon

Well put its all in the tuner but the SCT helps to make the tuners job easy which could coast you less in the end .
