Default Headers

Ok Im buying a new motor and im doing headers at the same time. I have an SLP X-pipe right now so my question is are there any other headers that WILL fit with no problems to this pipe besides SLP's long tubes??? Car is an auto and will have a PI Explorer engine. Thanks. Need some answers relatively quick. Anything?

sorry to get off the subject but I read that the explorer motors are aluminum but they are a weak 4.6, stock power is under 260HP, i think 230 HP. When i was looking for a newer 4.6 PI motor for my car, i ran across the explorer motor and looked at the specs. unless that's just what you want

someone else should chime in on the header part.

Wouldn't the lack of power just be as a result of the intake and/or Explorer computer?

The lack of power is from the exhaust and tune. Single exhaust and economy tune are what give the Explorer's aprox. 20 less h.p.

So where the cheapest for SLP headers. RPM outlet is the best ive seen so far.
