best shocks and struts for lowering springs

I have recently installed eibach lowering springs and was told the factory mach 1 shocks and struts give the best ride quality with lowering springs just wondering anybody out there no which combination has the best ride.

I have always heard that Fox Body specific springs are best for lowered cars, because they are shorter. And in addition to that...lowering springs will kill shocks and struts pretty quick. (this is what I have read in the past)

shocks and struts

i already have the eibach springs on the car i was just wanting to replace the shocks an struts with whatever rides the best.

I understand that, but I wanted to steer you in the right direction.....whether that be mach struts, or FOX BODY struts (any aftermarket one). Like I mentioned, the lowering of the car will kill a stock sn-95 strut/shock quicker than its normal life expectency

Ive heard the mach 1s which are tociko or something to that are a great and inexpensive way to go.

Depends on what you are going for. Drag racing? Street? Just a little better performance? For drag racing either 4 cyl fox body springs or adjustables are the best, for example.

I have the entire Bullet Suspension package on order. The kit includes struts, shocks, springs, and front and rear sway bars. Jegs and Summit sells for about $410 shipped for everything which is an awesome deal. I got mine for $360 (hey, I got lucky).

Go with Tokico's or Bilstiens. Avoid Strange at all costs.

best ride nothing else

All i am interested in is which will have the best ride and not ride like a go-cart my other vehicle is a Lincoln Navigator and it takes about three days of driving the mustang to get used to the mustang . Also I was wondering why you said not use strange because Ihave had good luck with them in the past we ran the fastest pass in the world by a limited street car about 4 months ago and also have a stock suspension car that runs mid to low eights quarter mile depending on weight and dots or slicks.

Any reasoning that you would say this? I run Strange adjustable up front and don't have any problems with them.

Islander had problems with the Strange Adjustables and MM C/C plates "clunking". He had a thread on the depot about it awhile back

Dont lower your your stang it will be stiffer than the stock ride no matter what you get. Mustangs are not made to ride like a luxury car or truck thats part of the reason why they are affordable compared to a BMW,Corvette, etc. You may want to look into an air ride setup from airridetechnologies.

Add me to the list of guys having problems with the Strange's. I am sending mine back next week for inspection.

Rattling problems. I'm not the only one. How long ago did you get yours? I never heard a bad word about them till I got them, now alot of people seem to have problems... I'm thinking this recent batch is just bad.
