What about this plenum/tb setup?

I'm looking at a Professional Products plenum that has been ported and polished to test against Accufab, BBK, C&L, Dragon, Granatelli, and Trick-Flow.

"The Performance Products plenum is of excellent design, is good out of the box initially, but needs work to bring it up to par in comparison to high quality aftermarket plenums. In design it is a cross between BBK, Dragon & Trick-Flow. Professional Products states this plenum flows 100 CFM over stock, after porting in critical areas this plenum now flows well over 100 CFM consequently providing exceptional performance."

The throttle body is oem 65mm but has been ported & polished for a significant increase in performance. "These TB's are exceptional performers after porting and are very comparable to 70MM performance. "

You get what you pay for! I know Accufab is expensive, but it's the best performing and looking. I put the Accufab 75mm TB and C&L Plenum on my previous mustang and it worked well and was around $300, which isn't too bad

Check out RPMoutlet.com, they have really good prices, they also have really cheap tb/plenum combos.

why get a stock sized TB...and then have to port it...why not just get a 75mm and be done with it.

The port and polish is already done to them. I would be buying a p&p stock tb and a p&p professional products plenum for 150.

I'd skip the ported stock TB, it's worthless as a mod. Accufab or FRPP make the best TB's I've tested so far.

The plenum should be nice but I haven't seen any test data for them. I'd say 150 for a plenum is a little high if it's used but not obscenely high.

I'll be getting a PP plenum soon to test so as soon as I have results I'll post them up.
