Steeda Pulleys/Diablo Predator

Still learning, please help!

I'm getting ready to install Steeda underdrive pulleys and I'm wondering once installed should the timing be advanced to 13 degrees? I live in California where we only have 91 octane so I'm not sure if 13 degrees is ok or not.

One more question regarding the Diablo Predator: If I have the standard Diablo Predator "performance tune" installed right now and I want to advance the timing while keeping that tune, do I just plug it in and use the "modify tune" option and go to the part where I can advance/retard the timing? Will advancing/retarding the timing effect any other part of the tune?

You will also need the Steeda timing adjuster to change the timing. The timing adjuster must be adjusted before you can use the degrees on the wheel.one way to set your timing is to use whatever octane rating you are going to run.Advance the timing and drive the car and listen for detonation. If none, advance the timing another couple of degrees and drive the car.Do this untill you hear detonation and back the timing off untill it goes away.I have no experienca with tuners but I understand you can change fuel and timing separately.
