Default Cobra cross over

I'm looking for an exhaust system for my 03 GT, I heard an 02, chased him down and asked him what he had. He said he had a "cobra cross pipe" is this just a high flowing catted X pipe, or is it something different?
I looked under the car and saw that he had Flowmaster 40's and an x pipe.

I thought Cobra's had 3" piping all the way through? Aren't GT's 2 1/4" from the exhaust manifold down?

nope. IIRC <05 all have 2.25" piping. So it looks liike you like the sound of flows and an x pipe. Warning.. flows tend to resonate a lot inside the cabin. Unfortunately there's almost nothing on the market that sounds just like a flowmaster.

mac's dont hardly drone, flows on the other hand do. Plus then you can sound like every v6,truck and any other thing you can put a flowmaster on. Maybe even a lawnmower?
