Cool Exhaust setup?

Hey guys on an 02 GT What is a good exhaust setup that is deep and muscle car sounding but not to loud? I want something that is deep and throaty but not something that is so loud it scares people and sets off car alarms. I was thinking a bassani catted x-pipe with some sort of cat-back system but i don't know. I smagnaflow good stuff? LMK a good setup without headers thats deep but not horribly loud.

x-pipes will not make that old school muscle car sound if thats what your going after.
if you want that you need an H-pipe and chammbered mufflers, which i have and sounds awsome.

wow, what are you talking about x-pipe wont do it. X-pipe gives you the old raspy sound of old school muscle cars.

Now after i just dropped my jaw. Go with either h or x pipe. O/R will be louder, and since you dont want it that loud, go with catted and do not get flowmasters. Flowmaster mufflers tend to louder than most and will drone.

Best thing for you to do is listen to some of the sound clips online and see the differ set-ups. Best advice, research research research.

here i found 2 clips

1-off orad h-pipe maganflows http://www.mustangexhaust.com/sounds...ockheaders.mp3

2-off road x-pipe maganflows http://www.mustangexhaust.com/sounds...ctory,02GT.mp3

ps- i used the maganflow catback for both so the sound would only be affected by mid pipes. As you can hear the x-pipe is raspy and h-pipe is nice and smooth. but some folks do like the x-pipe it sup to you blue thunder.

Me i cant stand x-pipes. I think they sound weird on stangs.

the mid pipe was an off road H-pipe, the brand doesnt matter as its just a mid pipe. get whatever H-pipe thats off road you can get for the least amount of money. The catback was regualr magnaflow catback, not the MAgnapacks.

you you go to the link i post www.mustangexhaust.com they have lots of exhuast setups you can hear and choose. from the sound of it I think you want h-pipe and chammbered mufflers for the old school sound. i will see if i can find a good clip of one.
