NEW Lower Intake Manifold.....

Heres the link--------> http://www.professional-products.com...lds46LFord.php

Whos gonna to be the first one to test it out?

I may put one on mine sometime. It would be great for nitrous users. Blown cars should breath much better on a 75mmTB/elbow combo along with a ported lower.

i'm waiting till they finish the 5.4 intake so i can get rid of the long intake runners and the intake adapter don't help.

Im interested in the number turn outs. Im looking in to purchasing but wondering if its worth the money.

They've already gone past at least one release date for this manifold. I don't know what kind of problems they're having with it but no one knows for sure when it will hit the shelves.

i will wait till i see some dyno numbers, and i wont get that fancy shiney version.

that new manifold wouldnt be worth it.....if your N/A...Save $$$ on suttin else....like cams....heads....labor costs..lol

After testing, The HP numbers were lower in the lower RPM compared to the STOCK PI Manifold.. from like 1500-3800. after 3900 till redline is where the power is gained...ie . Its like an extra 25hp at Peak. but u lose down low.

Im waiting to see some numbers on a blown GT with this manifold....should be impressive.and more HP...Throught the Rpms....

Uh, no thanks. This setup will not really be beneficial unless someone has forced induction of some sort, or some major boltons with heads, cams, ect. It said a gain of 21hp at 6500 rpm. Id like to know who here runs their engine to 6500 rpm who doesnt have some heads and cams because youll be walkin home, eventually, if you dont.

Those are test results off a built T-Trim car I do believe...

What's missing from nearly every intake test and anecdotal report is matching an appropriate cam with the intake. This is hilarious to me since any idiot knows that you don't grab an X303 cam and use stock intake and heads and expect huge power gains. Just like any H/C/I package, all 3 parts need to be addressed for best results.

Mix the PP Typhoon with an appropriate cam and you're sure to see better results. The reason it's so hard to beat the stock plastic PI intake is that the cams that are paired with it are designed to be most efficient in the same RPM range as the intake. If you add an intake that extends the useful RPM range to 6800, then put in a set of bumpsticks more suited to high rpm use and you'll get better results from the higher rpms. Port and polish the heads for better flow and that intake is even more beneficial.

I'll wait to see some dyno numbers...
