Default Leaking Antifreeze

I just discovered this leak. Is it my water pump?

It appears to be leaking all along the lines of that gasket right there. Could be a faulty gasket, mabye a crack somewhere.

If there was a crack, wouldnt it be leaking oil? The antifreeze starts to trickle when the cars is running.

If you have plastic intake pre 2001 it may be cracked. If you have antifreeze above the water pump it could be intake or coolant hose that goes under the intake. Get a flash light and peak under the intake and see if you see coolant

Yeah, look in the valley for coolant, might have to remove the alt if it's hard to check. Also clean it all off with some running water, then start your car and look for the coolant leaking out. The water pump has a weep hole and if coolant is coming from there, then that's the problem

Nope, no coolant above the water pump.
I will look for a crack on the plastic intake? Can the crack be internal?

Ok , i just let the car run for 5 mins. The leak is coming from under crankshaft. I cant see behind the water pump which is directly above the crank.

I am going to start wrenching now, just to make sure. Well, i might as well take care of all my installs while the car is down.

Might look into electric water pump.

Put on the belt for the supercharger. Shim out the idler pulley for better alignment, drain and chage the oil, clean and oil the filter.

then it might be the pump gasket blew out. Best thing to do is pull the water pump and go from there, let us know what happens.

Easily an H20 Pump Gasket to leak that amount of anti-freese. That's a relatively easy fix...just put a bucket underneath the waterpump so you don't get coolant all over your driveway.

Yep, already took it off. Now what do you think about an electric water pump?
