which is better..ceramic coated or chrome bbk LT's? i dont understand the differences...thanks for helping the n00b

get ceramic...chrome will rust over time
|
Ive been told theres some spraypaint coating that withstands rusting and high temperatures. So basically you could get the chromes and spraypaint em with a can or 2 of this paint which is like 4 bucks. Ive got bbk chrome shorties, i wish i would of known about it before I did mine.

Ceramic is better. The coating keeps temps under the hood down, and helps heat up the o2 sensors faster, and gives the car better drivability.

:devil2: |
Sure they'll rust if they're chrome, but I wouldnt worry. It's not like they'll break off from so much rust, and by the time they DO break from rusting, the car will have so many miles, it'd prolly need a new engine anyways

u can get chrom and thermal wrap them adding more power and protecting thema little bit
|
Chrome will rust like said and could cause problems down the road.
IT will just look like 100% $hit, so if you have any plans at all of showing the car off, dont get chrome |
Get ceramic if you can afford it, it will hold the heat in the header which is better for exhuast gas flow and making power.

Yes Ceramic is better, but think twice about getting BBK. They are known to give you small hp gains compared to other brands.
