Took the ACT today
Well as you all know in order to get into college you have to take the ACT or SAT. Anyways i took it today and had to wake up at 630 on a freaking saturday after a long night. The problem is it was twenty minutes away and we had to be there at eight so a couple of buddies and i went together and like a freaking idiot i choose to drive the stang, (Its been snowing all night and morning) over an awd magnum hemi and awd x-type, both with way more room and safety features. Anyways back to the trip, we get nearly there and there is just a film of light snow on the ground, but still enough to make going up the hill a challenge. We get there safely and take the FOUR hour test (I think i did good, hoping for at least a thirty to get in med school already have a 26) and as we walk out it is snowing its ass off. We get to the highway no trouble, now like the impatient, and hungry, teenager, i dont want to go ten under the 60 mph limit so i sort of give it some gas and try to switch lanes. The middle of the road is still covered in snow while where cars have tracked is just wet. As i switch lanes i start to lose it and the car swerves somewhat to the side and i correct it and then the other way, now its a pretty busy road and my rear end was almost in the other lane, but i straightened it out and slowed way the fu(k down. I am a pretty good driver and have never experienced anything like that which is why i am telling you this pointless story but afterwards i couldn't help but think that that could have been a fatal accident (we were on a wide bridge) and that my two best friends could have also died. It really helped me to realize that cars are not safe and to pay a little more attention when driving in crappy conditions.
Anyways thanks for your time i just felt that maybe others could learn a little from my mistake.
Also what are some of your guy's scores as i know there are some pretty intelligent guys ang gals on here!
