Just be careful about which spyware delete you get. Some of them really cluster **** your computer to submission. Happened to my lab top, had to delete the hard drive which is a bitch. Click and drag the toolbar up till you cannot see it, second best thing.

formatting is a quick solution to your problem, but you could get the spyware off without doing that. spybot is a good program, but I would also use ad-aware (www.lavasoft.com), microsoft antispyware (www.microsoft.com), trendmicro antispyware, cwshredder, kazaabegone, and go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com and do the online scan. you could also get a program called hijackthis.. it's kinda hard to use if you dunno what you're doing but it shows stuff that's attached to your internet explorer (should remove that toolbar if nothing else will). but it will show a lot of stuff that you don't want to remove. btw to all the scans with the programs in safe mode (microsoft antispyware may not work in safe mode, just scan in normal mode)

It is 100X more secure than microsoft IE...

and microsoft antispy ware is ALOT better than lavasoft...

DO NOT BUY LAVASOFT ADDAWARE... the free version is better than the professional...
if yer gonna buy an anti spyware go microsoft...

if you dont want to pay... get the free lavasoft addaware....

all the software I listed is free or has a trial version you can download. The only software I have bought would be Spysweeper, their free trial no longer lets you remove spyware though so I didn't list it. It does a good job of keeping stuff off your system though.. but nothing is 100% gonna keep you clean
