Default Exhaust Ban in Michigan???

If any of you live in Michigan please send a letter to your Michigan State House of Representative apposing this legislation. I haven't read the legislation, but from what the MM&FF article said it would pretty much ban most aftermarket exhaust systems in the state of Michigan. If you don't live in Michigan don't bother sending a letter or calling because your not a voter in that state so they don't care what you have to say. By the way, the guy who is introducing this legislation is a Republican....Just thought I'd point that out for all you hard core Republican stang owners!

I just looked at the MM&FF site and they have an update posted that the Legislator that was going to introduce the legislation informed SEMA he was not going to move forward with his proposal! NICE

I don't know, but it's pretty crazy. I think the ricers have really pissed a lot of people off with their loud fart cans....I'm sure there are some domestic owners that have made people mad as well, but I think people are a little more tolerant of muscle cars.

I would think that if that proposal did go through in Michigan you would all be allowed to keep your exhausts because it was before the bill passed. That's how most laws or bills are here in Ohio at least.
