How do I know?

Ok, I am planning on ordering some 18 inch chrome Bullitts in the next few weeks. The thing is that I want the deep dish Bullitts for the back obviously, but I do not know if they will fit. I have dual exhaust, and the pipes are pretty close to the rear wheels now (i just went out and measured and its about 2 inches). How do I tell if they will fit? What exactly do all of the measurements on the wheel page mean (backspacing, offset, etc...). Some help/advice would be great.

Here's the link for the deep dishes: http://www.mustangtuning.com/deepdish2.html

they fit bro...i'm almost 1000% posssitive....otherwise the guyz with rear Dual exhaust would have more problems....Look in last months 5.0 Mustangs...I posted the artical somewhere, but They did and artical on Just this topic about the Tires fitting under the car....and they do....even gave MTing a Shout Out...

That is without having to buy wheel spacers or anything right?

Ok...how much of a diference in tire prices can i expect from the regular 9 inch rims to the deep dish for the rear?

whitethunder46 01-29-2006 02:25 PM

all depends. the ones i'm looking at are $229 for a 295/35/18 and $194 for 265/35/18. Tires were BFG KDW2's

Ok...I got some pictures of how close they are. I know, its dirty right now. What do you guys think? Will an 18x9 fit? How about 18x10, 17x9, or 17x10.5? Opinions would really help before I order something.

whitethunder46 02-01-2006 06:34 PM

Plenty of room, the wider wheels have an offset to help prevent rubbing. 17x10.5/18x10 will all fit no problem

herndy_1 02-01-2006 07:23 PM

So basically what you're saying is that the wheels don't take up much more space on the inside...they are offset to stick out more on the outside. That correct?
