Yes but not the quality. That's what made up my mind.If I did'nt go CF I would have a Cervinis hood.

Red99GT 01-25-2006 02:25 PM

ok thanks for the info :beerchug:

RCTrucker7 01-25-2006 02:48 PM

I like the first one. The second one is nice too, but the first one had that "something" that caught me when it popped up on my screen, unlike the second one.

venom 01-25-2006 05:23 PM

1st one and dont go cheap on the hood. Dont feel bad about price as my hood was 1k :wallbash:

GREG@94GT 01-25-2006 05:34 PM

i like the 2nd one...

buy the 1rst 1 if you like it
(it kinda looks like a bubble... its too rounded for my taste)

StangGT804 01-25-2006 06:04 PM

I like the cowl! 2nd looks funny to me on gt's but both r nice tho!

Red99GT 01-25-2006 07:47 PM

Hey Lance, I couldn't remember if you stated it before, but is your CF hood functional or not?

It's not.I went with quality over function. Also I could never get ahold of the company that makes it in CF.

Champion Fiberglass Products

Try www.championfiberglassproducts.com Hood prices start at $270.00, They sell on E-bay with a 99.5 positive feedback rating

SpinMedia 01-26-2006 07:12 AM

you should get rims instead of a hood. Since you have a red car maybe you should turn your car into a cobra R replica

i plan to get rims over the summer but I'm going to wait until I need new tires anyway to save money.. and I'm not crazy about making replica cars...

Red99GT 01-26-2006 09:54 AM

steeda has a better price on the fiberglass cowl but the notes at the bottom say i would need hoodpins...
i thought you only needed them for carbon fiber..

Lances03SVT 01-26-2006 02:58 PM

Hood pin's are recommended for all aftermarket hood's.

here's a quick chopof the cobra r on ur car. I should get better very shortly as I'll apparently just be sittin on my butt all day after gettin my wisdom teeth taken out

venom 01-27-2006 07:12 AM

Lance is correct hood pins is a must. I have the Steeda one peice as I am afraid that someone might steal my pins.

Red99GT 01-27-2006 08:04 AM

thanks danny b

StangGT804 01-27-2006 10:06 AM
