Well last night i was getting on the interstate, doing about 55mph at this point and gaining fast. Well some penis wrinkle hits my driverside rear, spining me out. Mind you I am getting on the interstate at this point, it makes me do a full 360 infront of oncoming traffic that is doing about 65mph, as i am skidding and doing my 360 on the interstate 4 lanes, i am at this point turned around and seeing all the cars about to hit me. Somehow no one hit me but i do my 360 tried to save the car and but i was 5 feet too short, and the rear end smacks the middle median wall. I hit my head pretty bad at this point and now instead of being on the right hand side of the interstate, im now on the left, and car comes to a rest. Im now almost getting hit by all the on coming traffic because there is no room on the left of the interstate to sit. So i regain composure jump out of my car running around it in the middle of traffic, again im jumbled up, not thinking about traffic just my car, see that all the damage is to the back of the car. I get back in and try to start it, no luck. I remember the inertia switch that cuts off the fuel pump in accidents, so i go and reset the switch, car starts up, and i peel out and get off the interstate. At this point the cops know about it.

I shouldnt have gotten off of the exit that was right there, my friends finally meet me, and i call the cops. Evidently they had road blocks set up all down the interstate, they thought i was a street racing trying to flee the accident scene. But a state cop finally shows up, jumps in my face and starts yelling at me. I at this point am very pissed off, dissy, and confused. So i yell back at him and told him to shut his mouth, of course in very beautiful words which i will not repeat here, and told him that he was out of jurishdiction.

make this story short, the cop appologized, and helped me the best he could, there were no cameras there to see who hit me, and it comes down to a hit and run.

looked at my car today and the rear frame is bent and broke. No i have to see if jason steen at Steen Racing can help me out and see if it is worth fixing. But now im fudged.

Oh and now its my birthday, so what a great present!!!

That's messed up dude. I would rather take an ass whoopin from crocop or that other dude than have my stang all wrecked up. I think that's most everyone on this forums worst nightmare. Even a little door ding would make me heave. Glad your ok though and GL getting her fixed or maybe a new 06 Stang??

man if i wrecked...i dunno what i'd do...but if it wasnt my fasult atleast i will have peice of mind that it wasnt my idiocy that destroyed it

NO KIDDING! Im glad I didnt read this thread this morning, I wouldve walked to work. I am SO sorry to hear this man, I HATE people that dont own up to their actions. Do you even remember a color of the car? ANYTHING. Someone has a messed up front bumper/headlight. I hope its fixable, but if not, buy it back, part it out, and move on to bigger and better things.

WOMP THAT ASS!!!! I ****IN HATE HIT AND RUN ****... My mother and I were coming home one day from some errands and this kid infront of us was making a right turn on a 6 lane highway near my house (mind you two lights up in the police presinct...) well the light turns green for us, with a right turn signal, and the kid infront starts going then al of a sudden outa no where this civic SLAMS into his front left tire and hits HARD!... the civics hood was flown up and the front bumper was on the ground...we get outa the car the civic backs the car up...and then takes off down the road i was turning outa off... we flipped a Uie and followed him...funny thing...there was a cop coming the other way and when he saw the guy driving away he nailed him...( you gotta figure less then a 1/4 mile from the police station and ur trying to hit and run...)

Guy got what he deserved...kid was ok, shaken up but ok...

well i looked at it in daylight and the back frame is broke and twisted.. going to see is it is worth to fix, if not the car is being parted out. The Novi 2000 and whole set-up will be the first to go, so if you know anyone looking for one let me know.

So.... dude.... gotta ask, you like stangs right? i mean, yer car is ****ed. I wouldnt go scrapping out pieces of it for sale untill you figure what is gonna go on with insurance and **** like that, you might find yourself in another stang, in which a lot of that **** you can just move to the new one.

As far as parting it out, you really have no other choice when this happens. The insurance company will most likely give you even less for the car when it is modded, so you have to return it to stock and sell parts. But, not all work that way.

Regarding the Novi-2000, you know I have been deciding which way to go with my car...blower vs. heads and cams. Your setup is really a lot more then what I need as I would have just settled for a non-intercooled Novi-1000. But, if you get real desperate to sell the blower, let me know. I could get you the cash real fast and I trust you. I see lots of used blowers out there on the forums, but am hesitant to send money in those amounts to someone I don't know. For the right number, I would jump on it.
