Was the Texas/USC game the best ever?

I thought this was the best game i have seen in all my life!! Vince Young is a bad SOB and no one can deny it. I thought he should have won the Heisman trophy, hell I didn't see reggie bush do anything on this game....

+1 on Young = heisman. I can't go thru a list of games in my head right now but I'd say it would have to be pretty high up there. Maybe now they'll stop calling us the "Little 12" CONFERENCE. I honestly thought Texas had no chance of winning this game.

Ill say yes, but maybe there was better. Dunno. It was definately the best Ive seen in a LONG DAMN TIME. These teams could kick half the nfl's ass.

I doubt it, as good as they are, they are college guys, not to be compared to nfl teams. Even the Houston Texas would massacre the best college football team. Lets not forget that NFL teams are made up of the best college football players out there.

Umm Reggie Bush had 275 all purpose yards. I would say that is something. Both teams played a super game. Young was definatly the standout star with all his passing and rushing yards.

I dont know if this was the greatest game every but it was AWESOME. I didnt care who won but man it was fantastic. It was going to come down to whoever had the ball last with some time to work with. Who knows if there where 2 mintues left instead of 19 second USC could have just as easily went down the field for the tying FG or the winning TD. It was and AWESOME game and mad props to Texas and they need to kiss Youngs ass because if it werent for him they would have not been close.

Just because a team wins the title doesnt mean the conference is strong. USC won last year in a cup cake Pac 10, Ohio State won 3 years ago in a down big 10, and Texas won this year out of a weak Big 12. I mean when Colorada is the team you play in the title game, your conference is weak.

It was def. a good game, but you can't ignore the FSU PSU GAME...trippled overtime...F'in MAD AS HELL WE COULDA HAD AN UPSET IF WE COULD HAVE JUST KICKED A GOD DAMN EXTRA POINT!

But the champ. game wasn't that bad...Sure as hell GLAD USC LOST!...****'em lol

So are you saying the Browns would beat them lol.

It was an incredible game, but I don't think it was the best. I'm glad Texas won, even if I didn't think they'd do it.

Big 12 weak LMAO OU in a down year beat #6 Oregon,Missouri beat South Carolina,Nebraska beat #20 Michigan and Texas beat's the mighty Trojans. Not a bad bowl season for a "week" conf.

Its a weak conference not week. Big 12 Education :) j/k

But sorry top to bottom the Big 12 is not as tough as the Big 10 or SEC. The big upset was Oklahoma over Oregon. But Oklahoma started playing quite well towards the end of the season when their players got healthy. That and Oregon had to be one of the most over-rated teams in years. I mean #6 ranking and beat no one good and lost BIG to the only good team they played in the regular season.

The Big 12 is definatly tougher than the Pac 10 or Big East but its no SEC or Big 10 at least this year.

Of course, i don't know of any quarterback these days that would make runs like v. young. Hell have you seen how much bigger the players are in the nfl. I'm sure he would think twice about making runs like that.

Fat Lard 01-06-2006 11:00 AM

I would have to say it was the best game ever. No. 1 USC ( 34 straight wins ) against No. 2 Texas ( 19 straight wins ). Both undefeated. One team with two Heismans. The other with the best defense and best quarterback/running back. Texas wins with 18 seconds left. It def lived up to the hype.

Fat Lard 01-06-2006 11:01 AM

Oh yeah, now its 20 straight wins for Texas. he he he
