Hey does anyone know where I can get a Cingular or unlocked Quad-band cell phone for under $130. I beat the crap out of mine and I really need to get this thing replaced asap. Any information or hook ups would be appreciated. I tried ebay but I was hoping someone knew better.

I'd sale you this v551 I have and don't use anymore.. but it was one of the 1st gen's I think and it locked up a lot on me, I was going to get a new one from the mfg and sale it on ebay lol

Without a contract, you are gonna get ripped pretty bad on pricing.

it would just freeze.. usually it was when the signal was too low. I think it was a known issue with some of those phones cuz we had a lot of them returned at work until they fixed the issue.

I know thats how cell phone companies get you.........sell you a piece of crap so when that piece of crap dies on you you have to buy another one it's a continuous circle of cell phone crap

So is yours fixed or is one of the problem phones..and hows it look did you beat on this one or is is decent

mine is one that freezes.. i just haven't got around to getting a new one sent to me, I bought it back in january.. it's in really good condition there's just one scratch on the cover. its a motorola v551.

I'll PM you this weekend if I dont find anything better......but right now that sounds pretty good.

I may be getting Treo soon...I could sell you my brand new "Razor" for like $150 there isnt a scratch on it.

Ive had a black razor since before Cingular imported them to the US. Its an unlocked European phone (manual was in Porteguese). No you cant have it.

wow you are teh win. now my grandma has the razor with bluetooth ear peice. you are no longer anyone special with a razor.

cool phone status is smartphone, or PDA. anything else and you suck.

yeah just let me know.. I still have the box, manual, charger, everything that came with it. You could probably get them to send you a new one on it anyways, cuz it's still under the mfg warranty. I actually bought it at best buy and have extended warranty coverage on it, so if cingular won't give me a new one best buy will.

ok....you should just cancel ur plan w/ wat ever company u have and get a nextel i710...i have had one for about 6 months and this thing has taken a hell of a beating....its been thrown, droped, ran over...any thing....the back battery panel is f'ed up....its starting to turn itself off when i close the flip thingy....thats it...and its been beating on like no other...i love it...o and it says invalid battery when i try to charge it...haha....need to get another one

NExtel has a great concept but the signal Blows...i get better signal with Cingular up and down the EAst Coast then my friends with Nextel. That being said I don't really like Motorala's that much anymore, mine keeps freezing up and lagging. It gets all screwed up. I've had it a year and a half. it's a V400 lol back in teh day...

Except for the fact that my razor is unlocked and I can program it. Your grandmas razor doesnt have video. Mine does.

well unless his grandma bought one of the newer silver razr's or a black razr then it has video too

i love motorola phones.. I have had my razr for several month with no issues and I've dropped it several times
