69 Coupe

so there is a guy down the street of me that is selling his 69 mustang coupe w/ a 302 and auto....it has a new hood.......new pans and replaced rusted spots...needs a paint job...headlights, little interior things (new front seats), and weather stripping....it is 2500....wat do you think i should do..buy it and restore it w/ my grandfather (former 69 boss mustang owner)?

stang00 11-30-2005 06:02 PM

I think that would be a very kool thing to do with your grandpa, probably make him the happiest man in the world. If you have the money i say do it.

Noticed how i capitalized and spelt everything right. (I think im getting better)

If you dont, tell me where the heck it is, hell, Id drive it around in primer before I let that slip away.

And stanger00, you messed up spelled.

Icefreezen 11-30-2005 06:13 PM

Seriously i'll drive and get that beast for that much thats a steal.....You can turn that thing into a beauty with just a little TLC.

PureStang 11-30-2005 06:25 PM

PureStang 11-30-2005 06:28 PM

and its missing a few pieces of chrome parts....like the chrome side thingys(equivilent to our side scoops)...and i think the air dam is broken on one side

Icefreezen 11-30-2005 06:37 PM

There are a lot of restoration parts out there trust me for the amout to fix that up for and the bragging rights of saying you restored a classic and own one is priceless and one day that thing will be worth soooooo much. Plus it will look awesome....I want one..... :(

GREG@94GT 11-30-2005 06:48 PM

al old car like that is easy to work on...

the only thing that might get ya is those hard to find classic parts...
most parts can be real cheap tho...

car sounds like a steal...

And miss matched wheels? look at the car in your sig... wheels cant get worse than that... comon now... lol

madmatt 11-30-2005 06:51 PM

DO IT! Just make sure the previous work was done by someone who knew what they were doing.

PureStang 11-30-2005 06:56 PM

BrentK 11-30-2005 07:03 PM
