so wat exactly does it to become a mod?...ive been wondering how they come around....i know they pretty much monitor the forums..but wats the things that are behind the scenes that us non-mod members dont know :confused:

I wouldnt want to be a mod because I payed someone money, kiss a$$, or any of the above. Of course if it was offered i'd most likely accept but not because I had to beg for it.

You cant just sign up on the forum's and become a mod, You have only been here for like 3 months and their are members that have been here for a year or so. When someone drop's their mod spot or someone is demodded the Admin's and mods look around for a member who they think is heavily active, mature, knows how to run a message board, who can do the job, etc etc etc...

...photochops mods' cars and puts them in their sig...

You couldnt pay me to be a mod. Even if i did somehow smoke enough crack to agree to do it, i'd be **** canned in less than an hour.

being a mod is over-rated.

I think Purestang asked a legitimate question. But in reality, I don't see what everyones fixation is with trying to become a moderator. I understand its a job that needs to be done to keep things running smoothly on the forums but there isn't any real benefit of it IMO.
