You dont need any tools like that. If you have a friend, use them instead.

Spring clamps, you can get them at any checker Auto. Probably auto zone too.
Make sure you get the ones that fit on the OUTSIDE, not the inside. trust me on this. spring clamps totally suck dude, im not kidding, but they will make things a bit easier. you only need to compress the front springs very very little once you get the entire caliper assembly to drop, you might be able to get away without em. , the new springs will fit right in, no compression needed. The rear springs you will need to compress about 2 inches. here is the best part, the spring clamps at Checker Auto run about 55 bucks to a pair. You buy em. When yer done using them, you return them for a full refund. This is not cheating, that is how checker handles special tools. Take it, use it, bring it back in good condition and get full refund. |

you can rent spring compressors at auto zone for free. u just pay a 40$ deposit just in case u steal them lol. |
You REALLY dont need them. Its kinda a nervous minute while you do it, but the stock spring isnt going anywhere if you lower the jack slowly and have the tension off of it. You actually have to somewhat pry the old springs out.

I didnt need em when I did mine. I stood on my control arm while my buddy worked them in. Its was actually pretty simple.
