to the first question, no. it destroys the childs life, and that has been proven.

honestly i couldnt care less. My uncle and one of the guys i work with is gay and there still pretty cool guys. Whatever floats their boat. If they find men attractive and not women its not fair to prohibit that. Could you imagine if someone came up to you and said " You cant F*** women anymore"? Also more gay marriages=more adoptions=Solution to population problem...

I take back what i said earlier about gay people and how they should be thrown in a cage with george bush. it should be a state's rights issue. Federal courts should not be involved. if people vote within a state to ban it then the law should not be overturned by some rogue court.

I'm very much against gay marriage and agree that it is just another sign of the downward spiral that society has been on for the last 40 years. if we keep going this route, just wait for NAMBLA to start lobbying congress and actually getting a foothold. (if you don't know the acronym, look it up)

I don't care. Let em do their thing. They aren't hurting me in anyway. Although I don't care to see 2 guys all hugged up, they are not bothering me. Me and my ex and a group of others used to go to a gay club here in Pensacola. It was actually a fun club and had more fun there than the straight clubs because people weren't all uptight and ********. Just everyone having a good time and I never got hit on. I think it is the same as interracial marriages. People shun interracial marriages because it was one not tolerated. Now it is a common thing so eventually the gay marriage will just be a normal thing I think.

And personally I enjoy watching shows like Queer Eye, they teach red necks and the average joe how to attract a women. Also, i understand it's gross, to be honest, i think it's gross too, but thats not the point, gay marriage is about denying someone a right (and that is what it is...) based on their sexual preferance...who cares, pedifiles and gays ARE NOT THE GOD DAMN SAME THING!, one malests boys! the other actually participats in relationships!, if you look at the domestic violence between gay couples and straight ones...the gays have a much less percentage...and as I keep saying, it doesn't matter what any one person thinks, it matters what rights have been granted in the contitution. Equal rights, otherwise by the same judgement I could say I OWN every redneck and high school drop out because I am a "Well to-do, Hispanic Male working on a COllege education." Therefore because i'm smarter then them I can tell them what to do...(obviously this is Bull**** cuz no one would permit it...) stop jumpin into other people's business, worry about the catholic faith having legitamacy in any philosophical circle (or any faith for that matter) before you raise the pitch forks and start persecuting people....

 

Still to this point not a single person against gay marriage has pointed out a single valid point except they feel its wrong.

But as said many times by many people, if two people get married it DOES NOT AFFECT YOU IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. So who cares man.

Some of you peoples hatred for gays is pretty funny actually. You spend so much effort and time hating a group of people. Well I guess that is pretty much how most religions have been since the beginning of time.

Preach tollerance and loving thy neighor, unless if benefits you in some way, they by all means kill and hate. Yeah thats what I want to follow.

The other funny thing is I have talked to many people on both sides of the religion debate and most of the people who do not believe know more about the religion than those who blindly follow.
