i got pulled over!!!!!!!

yeah. tonight. i leave work, stop for the intersection right next to the police station. light turns green, i hit my gas, and let my clutch out a liiiittle too fast (damn racing clutch!!) and my tires just start spinning like crazy (it was raining all day today, first time in a while, so all the oil went to the top). anyway, i pull over and tell that bitch cop what was up, and she apologized, and then left.... just kidding, I WAS NICE TO HER, and turned on my inside lights, and turned off my car, kept my hands in plain sight, and was polite, and she just asked for my drivers license, ran it, then told me to becareful and let me go on my way. SEE GUYS, they dont pick on teenagers (im 19)
and it pays to be nice!

if I ever get pulled over by a cop (haven't yet) I'm just going to yell "I DONT KNOW HOW TO DRIVE A STICK AND IM ON MY PERIOD" I think he'll let me go.. lol

Heck, I would have just watched ya spin away and realized the roads were wet and not even bother pulling ya over.

I don't do much traffic and about the only tickets I write are when I get stuck working an accident.

However, there are some people that just deserve tickets for doing stupid things in front of a cop. Those people definitely get the ticket.

It DOES pay to be nice and it never hurts to apoligize and admit your faults before the cop starts writing. 9 out of 10 times you will get a warning.

i got 2 tickets and lost my license for 90 days around easter it sucked the second ticket i deserved even tho i was just lettin off some steam but the first one i was just moving with traffic along a 1 lane road and the cop just picked me outta every1 to pull over i was not very happy but was nice both times and admitted it was wrong to do it but the cop gave me the tickets newayz o ya same cop too

yep, i was nice, pulled into a parking lot so we were off the street, turned my inside lights on, and my car off, rolled down my windows, and left my hands in plain view, and the cop was definatly the nicest iv ever talked to, being pulled over or just talking to. and yeah, i said i knew why she pulled me over, and she ust ran my plates & license to make sure everything was cool, then let me go on my way.. not even a warning.

I just wana point out, I didn't say that...LoL, nah man you gotta expect if your in a Mustang with a loud exhaust they're guna hear ya coming and even if the car next to you is goin 5 miles per hour faster they'll nab you...

Everyone ... depending on the point in life they are at.. has an important opinion. Me, personally... I have 3 boys, 2 of which play outside and the 3rd will be in a year or 2.

I appreciate and respect the boys (and girls) in Blue and all they do to keep my neighboorhood safe. Yep... I had 2 D.U.I's in my stoopid days and don't particularly like having to drive 20 miles per hour for 2 mile to daycare in the mornings when I'm "pushing it" trying to get to work in time.. I have plenty of invalid reasons to not like "cops", but I have more reasons to appreciate the risk they take every day to give me piece of mind that I don't have to worry as much about someone being in my house when I return home from work or some dumbass running through a stop sign and hitting my kid on his bike.

so.. ok.. soapbox over.. just an old fart here giving his "slant" on the "cops". Resume normal programming now please.

tennstang: Thanx for the kind words. Some of use are cool and actually use common sense at work. We do have a fair share of knuckleheads and those are the ones that give us all a bad name. However, if people decide to post and bash cops I tend to take it a little personally because basically you are bashing all of us. Whoever decides to do it next time at least write the guys name down or something (and post it) because you ARE NOT gonna lump me into the group of "cops" that pissed you off on a certain time or day.

It's just a job people, we aren't any better or worse than the rest of ya. We put our pants on just like everybody else,,,,one leg at a time. It's the power hungry azzholes that make us look bad.
