After seeing several upclose i have changed my opinion on the fake hood scoops. I used to think that it was fake and looked terrible but the hood w/o the scoop on my 00 GT doesnt look all that muscular either so i was wondering where i could pick one up cheap. I would prefer it to be a take off so i wouldnt have to paint but think that finding a gold one would be hard since no gold 00 gt's had them stock. What do you think a black one would look like with maybe a black hood insert? Thanks for you help. Here is a pic of the car so you can let me know what you think.

A black scoop might look cool...sort of shaker. Or, it may look too fake.

In my opinion, get it color matched. I like the black accent thing on some cars, but I dont think it would look that great on a gold car. Just get it done this way and it will make you stand out in a good way. It will be subtle and only those in the know will know whats going on.

I think it would look best with the hood scoop painted gold.

Thanks guys, im toying with the idea of black bullits on it also because the chrome on there now is gettin in rough shape, so i think i would need something else black on it to help the wheels, maybe dual stripes or something in black?
