Well I got my first office job at an Attorney's office, its pretty cool, so much different then when I use to work at a resturant, I feel like im 40. It feels so diffent having to wake up at 6:00am to do an hour drive to work, everyone in the morning drives so slow and curtious, and having to go to work in a long sleeve shirt and a tie seems pretty cool too.. but ofcourse i rock it with the collar up all "G"ed out with my pants below my weist. I already got most of the attorney's to start saying "yo" instead of "Hello". Im the only guy in the parking lot with a stang, everyone has like an M-benz or a beamer. Makes me want want to buy a fancy car like a beamer to look like a little rich kid :)

also, do you guys that work at offices bring your own lunch?, because everyone here gets fast food for lunch and at the rate im going of eating BK everyday for lunch, im gonna start gaining weight.

Office jobs suck, but they sure pay the bills.

Yer totally gonna be a fatass if you get fast food everyday. I dont get a lunch hour, not on the shift i work. somone will usually make a food run, but most of the time i bring my own food, and it is much healthier than anything yer gonna find around here.

Congrats on the new job. Pull up yer pants, turn down your collar, and be a good little white collared monkey for the man.

I work in an office 7-3 Mon-Fri. I bring my lunch most of the week and usually some of us go out on Fridays for lunch. I gained 20 lbs eating fast food everyday. I bring healthy stuff now and dropped the 20 lbs. Not only will it make you fat, it will hurt your wallet, especially if you are driving an hour to work.

On a side note..Please tell me you are kidding about popping your collar at work and sagging your pants? That has to be one of the GAYEST trends I have ever seen (the collar thing). You are working in an attorney's office so why don't you dress professional and not like some punk kid. You won't get any respect dressing like that and I would think it would be harder to move up in the company if the big wigs see you as some punk ass kid that sags his pants with a gay collar that isn't folded down and not a professional. Atleast act grown up at work man.

I thought office jobs would be easier, its something i always wanted to do i guess, Now that im doing it, it just seems so boring, like i would have fun working at a resturant with a bunch of hott chicks everywhere, now its just like, im the youngest one here. Time seems to go by so slow

I dont really have the time to prepare my own food, one of my co-workers gets food from this place called "Natural Chicken Grill", its like real grilled chicken in white rice and a pita with like a side order of a ceaser salad or a potato, gonna start eating that.

and yes i do wear my pants a tad below my weist, Tuck my shirt in, open my shirt a bit on the top, go to work with my hair spiked up, its a nice "Professional yet young" look. All the girls that work here think i look good :)

Dunno where you got the idea office jobs are easier. <grin> I barly lift a finger all day long, but my job can be very stressful. I troubleshoot telecommunication troubles on 6 switching platforms for over 80 markets across the US, and i tell ya what, it aint easy, but everything i do is remote and telnet, so i sit on my arse all day long.

I do miss being out in the field working, some day when the market turns around ill get out of the office.

This will hopefully be the last office job i ever have. It is an unfufilling job to say the least.

Time will go slow for a while, once you get into a groove time will go by a bit faster.

Funny I work on the field and I want an office job, I suggest we all swap for one week and see whats better. What type of law do they do at your office.

Yeah, you'll be a porker soon enough...I have an office job, and when i first started working here, i use to wiegh about 135 lbs, now i weigh close to 160 lbs i gained about 30 lbs in a 14 month period! :eek:

Office jobs own. I love it, but I dont get fat because I have to walk to all of my classes and its a hassle to try and get a lunch hour in. LOL. Love the pay, the people, and the work. Im basically a gofer, but who cares. I get paid 10 bucks an hour to make copies and do a little autocad, no college degree or anything.

Fraud insurance claims.
