Alright, heres attempt #458 to quit smoking those coffin nails. Any tips? Because damn this sucks.

I know the feeling! I've only had two cigs in the last week. The good part is I actually WANT to quit this time. Best of luck kickin' the habit!!!

There is a difference between wanting to quit and being ready to quit.

Ive tried many times with various levels of luck. I think the beast way is to get a girl who doesent like you smoking. <grin>

In January 2001, I said goodbye to a dear person in my life who succumbed to cancer. I watched hopelessly for many months as we tried and tried everything. In the end, we could do nothing but dump morphine into her body to make her comfortable...that was all that was left. Finally, she gased her last, tired breath and then there was no more.

The person was my daughter. She was 18 months old. While cigarettes did not kill her, she would have done everythng to trade places with you or anyone else. I hate to see someone waste a life when there are so many that try so hard to live.

You have been given a chance to live...don't throw it away. Quite if you want...die if you must. The choice is yours. Don't be owned by a butt.

Rather than eat away your lungs, that junk will eat away your mouth and throat. Anything with tobacco is harmful. I dont care how macho anyone thinks it looks.

I don't think it looks cool at all. I am naturally a high strung person and it helps relax me. Believe me if it was easy to quit I would. I bitch about people smoking but 10 mins later I'll put a chaw in. My best advice to anyone is to never start any tobacco product. BTW- I don't touch alcohol.

I don't drink either,going on almost 12 years now,was'nt a problem but just quit after I got married.Now smoking is a different story,would'nt mind quiting but have'nt tried in a few years.I used to chew but that is a very nasty habit that I'm glad not to have anymore.Now if I could just stop the internet porn addiction I think I would be just fine LMAO :)

I had a relative pass becuase of throat cancer. When I saw him a few weeks before, it was enough to make me never want to touch a cancer stick again.

Anywhom, I use to be a smoker, then a lot of my friends stopped doing it and then I just stopped also. I just "Stopped" though, never feened for it.

I dont know why people smoke. What does it do for you other than yellow your teeth, give you bad breath, be the cause of cancer, take your money, make your clothes smell, and the list goes on and on. Wheres the good attributes to smoking?
If a girl does it, its such a turn off and I probably wont even talk to her.
