Does anyone here think that Nitrous is cheating??? My opinion is that no matter if it is a fender or 4 car lengths you win, no matter what you got done to your ride. Some of my friends seem to think it is cheating, I dont. I keep telling them it is like part of my car, i spent my money on nitrous and my friends spent theirs on superchargers and I still win. They tell me to take the bottle off and get beside em, and i tell them to give me a tire off of their car cuz its part of the car just like my bottle. I'm just wanting some opinions other peoples idea's on the juice. CHEATING or NOT????

They are mad because they have no chance. If its there, its fair game. If you know you are gonna get your ass whipped by a sprayed GT, then dont race. Simple as that... crying about it isnt going to get yourself anywhere.

would they consider a blower cheating? same concept..its all forced induction...if they lose , they lose, and thats that...they suck, you rule

How is nitrous cheating and a supercharger is not? I too have heard this stupid comments from some of my friends!

....they are both power adders! Nitrous is not cheating and if you think otherwise you're a dumbass plain and simple!

Nitrous is not cheating. Though, it would not be tough to rig a race where a blower would have a big advantage over nitrous such as any race much longer than a 1/4 mile. You just can not spray that long.

I agree with all of the above, its no where near cheating, one of my friends has a friend with an 85 or 86 gt with a 460 in it, nice car inside and out, but I raped him twice and mind you that was with my 100 shot pills still in, he had his girl in the car and everything but to this day he will not hardly talk to me lol it is funny to me, my other friend got smart and got some nx set up since i have been overseas and he says its the shiznit. Dont get me wrong I have got my a@@ handed to me by some na, and blown cars but for the most part I hate when I hand you your pride in your lap and role the windows up and turn on the air conditioner and you decide you dont like me no more

Any thing after the 1/4 is not my cup of tea, i like the str8 line racing lol but yes a blower would surely eat a sprayed stang's lunch unless the sprayed stang had alot more done to his ride...........

Just a bunch of whiners. Nitrous is not cheating, and they are stupid to think that. But its funny, the people that you find calling it cheating, are the ones who are in debt because of their 10k dollar supercharged/turbo engine. Just my findings...

or they are the ones that are scared to run it. i got all my freinds hooked on the bottle. my freinds f150 has it, my freinds z28, my other freinds z28,my freinds v6 mustang,my mustang, and my freinds bike has it. We are all bottle junkies.

I think of nitrous as cheating only bc its like the cheatcode in the vide games.

push a button, get a boost.

sc's/turbos on the other hand, are constant, active thigns that run at all times. you never run out of supercharger or whatever.

actually you dont push a button it automatically does it for you

nitrous is another way of forced induction, but instead of air its a highly reactive element, a good nitrous setup is about half the price of a good blower or turbo setup, so its a smart decision ...if you really beleive what you just said, i dont consider you a true mustang enthusiast

You press a button to spray, unless you have a computerized setup and thats only the venom kit that I can recall.

If im not mistaken the NX does it automatically too...hence the window switch, and full throttle activation switch
