Well, me and pops decided today would be a good day to tackle the springs, so after dinner, we got to it about 9 o clock. We just decided to call it a night about 11:15 after we finished both rears. We are also doing new mach shocks and struts. Not bad in my opinion for our first MUSTANG suspension swap, but dad was a mechanic for like 15 years, so hes done them a time or too. The most important thing I can recommend is remember the rule that two is better than one. Make sure you have TWO people, TWO jacks, TWO sets of jackstands, etc. Not a hard install, just have to take your time and be careful. We are getting up tomm morning to finish the front before I have to go to work at 11, so ill report back in after work tomm. Steeda sports by the way.

The fronts take a bit more time but just as easy. Post some pics when you are finish but remember the springs will settle a bit after a week or so.

Yea, we figured the front would take a while longer, so I think we are just going to wait until I get home from work to do em. I dont wanna rush it. The backs hadnt droped much at all last night when we put the car down yet, but thats expected. LOL the old isolaters are TRASHED, glad I bought poly's to replace em.

I also replaced my isolators and they were also trashed. You may want to stuff a couple of people and drive around to help it settle a bit faster.

Well, it is done, and it is good. Fronts were a pain in the ass on the first side, but the second side was a breeze once we knew what to do. Total time, Id say five and a half hours, but it was our first time. Fronts already about an inch lower, backs are about a half inch lower. Ride is fine with the Mach one shocks/struts and the new isolators are amazing. Not much squeakin goin on anymore. Holy hell, I need new brakes though...bout to price em up now. Not a hard install at all, just time consuming. Glad I didnt pay the 200 bucks to have someone do it for me, as it was a great learning experience for a person like me who's still gettin into it. I repeat the rule of twos though, very key. Springstang, I got my new isolators off the classifieds and from stangsuspension.com. They are great to deal with, just a little slow on the shipping side as they are in Cali. Next up is brakes, alignment, and finishing the black bullitts. Those might get pushed back a week or two due to the brakes and I have to pay the car payment this week. Oh well, it wouldnt be as fun if you did it all at once ey? Man, Im tired, bedtime.
