Default The day has come. Mustang gone...

Well you can officially add me to the list. The mustang has been sold. I had been thinking about it for awhile and finally got it done. With a baby due anytime now, I just didn't see it being feasible putting money into 2 cars. While I did enjoy having a supercharged mustang for awhile, I didn't want to put more money into it considering there were things that were starting to go and needed replacing. Plus smog was getting to be a bitch. So all in all, I took off the supercharger and whatever else I could sell and she's now gone. It will take a little getting use to not seeing the mustang parked in front of my house anymore, but such is life.

Eh, I still had a hookup for smog, but didn't feel like dealing with it anymore nor pay $250 to do it. Just too much money was gonna have to be put into the mustang to get it where I would have liked it.

Very true, I'm not too bummed over it really. I quite enjoy driving the WRX. Plus I added an intake, exhaust and tune to it, so it woke her up a bit.

How's the WRX as a daily driver? I'm thinking of buying an 09 WRX and using it as my only car.

I have considered getting rid of mine lately, just due to the gas mileage that it gets and dropping close to 60-80$ a week in it doesnt help for just going from home to work and back again...

no fun or anything thee, and there is no sign of a raise in pay coming my way, but I would die every time I saw a stang go buy too!

It's an awesome daily driver. Gas mileage isn't great considering it's a 4 banger. Highway is like 24-25mpg, and like 19-20 on the streets. It's quick, awd is quite nice, and it's comfortable. I would've liked to have gotten a 09, but it just didn't happen that way, but you can find the turbo off a 09+ for like $400. So eventually I'll slap one on and all you need is a tune and it works just like it would if it were stock. If you get one, I highly recommend getting the little tuner for the car cause the stock tune is **** and it will smooth things way out.

Thanks for welcoming me.

It's not an easy decision to sell it but you got to do what you got to do. I had 5 great years with it and it was awesome.
It's not an Eleanor eventhou I can see how it looks somewhat similar but the grey is much darker.

The sound is just as good as the look - in my opinion.
